My Faith Legacy

I created these two pages about the time I spend with the Lord. On the left side are the words to the song “In The Secret”. In that secret, quiet place He is there. I wait to hear from Him because I want to know Him more. I attached the vellum with two eyelets and then tied on a jeweled heart that has a keyhole in the middle.

In the secret, in the quiet place
In the stillness, You are there

I want to know You, I want to hear your voice

I want to touch You, I want to see Your face,
I want to know you more.

I am reaching, for the highest goal
That I might receive the prize.
Pushing onward, pushing every hindrance aside, out of my way,

On the right side of the page I penned a personal note on what this time means to me. I explain that I don’t do this out of obligation or duty but as a delight and a privilege. My time with the Lord is not just a visit. It’s more of a homecoming where He comes in and settles down and shows me wonderful things from His word and speaks to my heart. He is always waiting there to meet with me. I just have to invite Him in. At the bottom of the page I’ve attached and key and penned the words “Come in!”
